This video provides an explanation of a CFD Analysis process for analyzing screw compressors to produce very accurate results. The ability to very quickly and accurately simulate screw compressors, pumps, turbomachinery, and other complex machines saves companies large amounts of time and money. In this video, the CFD simulation resolves the issue of thermal expansion that occurs in "real life", physical testing and in operation, that are not accounted for in CFD analysis. Very small gaps at the micron level and leakage and cavitation are also accounted for in the simulation.
