Taking the Mer De Glace Train from CHAMONIX

We've reached the top of the Alps! Chamonix in France is the main stop for exploring the highest peak in the whole of the Alps. There's a range of activities to do here, but we picked a day out on the little red train, the Mer De Glace. Your ticket on the train includes a gondola to the Ice Cave and an epic walkway through the glacier itself. This day was one of the highights of our entire 52 day road trip through 7 countries, and we're so glad we included it and are able to share it with you here.
