My trip to Birmingham had me depressed about the state of the country. It seemed like most people have accepted that the cities in England are now cesspits, full of rubbish, hardcore D*ug use and segregated living.

I decided to take a trip to Newcastle to see if there is any hope for English cities in 2024.

Disclaimer: It was bank holiday easter Friday so it was quiet out. Plus the metro was closed for works, scuppering my plans. I'll go back in the summer for another look.
