John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park is a spectacular park on Key Largo in the Florida Keys. As a State Park, they have a policy against the use of drones but I happened to be just South of the park and was able to launch and obtain some great aerial video using my DJI Phantom 3 Advanced drone. It was late afternoon and you can see some of the nice houses along the coast, crystal clear ocean waters at the inlet and some jet skis in the distance. While you can see the park, it would be a whole lot nicer if they allowed over flights to truly capture it’s beauty.
