Easy DIY Kayak Fishing Anchor!

I have been using this kayak anchor for over three years now and it is still working very well! The design is very simple so any of you should be able to make it yourself after watching this video. Not only is it an easy DIY project, it is a very cost-effective anchor setup.

Materials Needed:
18-24” of 1” Diameter PVC
18-24” of Pool Noodle
Anchor Rope (preference dictates length, I use 50ft)
Carabiner Clip
Heavy Duty Carabiner Clip
Stainless Steel Clip

Steps:
1. Simply fit the pool noodle over the top of your PVC pipe (put glue on PVC if you would like added strength).
2. String Anchor Rope through PVC and tie it to the stainless steel clip on one side.
3. Pull it out the other side and wrap it around the pool noodle pretty tight.
4. Place your carabiner clip in between the rope and the other end of the PVC pipe
5. Affix the end of your anchor line to the heavy duty carabiner and clip it to your anchor
6. Go catch a big fish while staying in one spot on the water :)
