Like Any Other | Zena

Led by Marsa, “Like any other” is an awareness campaign aiming to dismantle preconceived notions surrounding disability and intimacy. Because individuals living with disabilities are often asexualized or fetishized in our societies, we intend to challenge these prejudices and eradicate taboos by promoting a more inclusive view. In this series of videos, we amplify the voices of four individuals living with different disabilities who open up about their relationship with their bodies and their own sexuality.
Not all disabilities are visible, but they are equally valid and deserving of recognition and support.
Our warmest thanks go to Zena for agreeing to share her story with us. The agency of the participants was central to the making of these videos. They were made after lengthy conversations with them, and in accordance with their wishes, to ensure their complete autonomy.
Our deepest gratitude to the director and her team for their dedication to eloquently portraying these lived experiences.

حملة "متل أي حدا" هي حملة توعية أطلقتها مرسى بتهدف لتفكيك المفاهيم المسبقة المحيطة بالإعاقة والحميمية. بمجتمعاتنا، غالبًا بيتم النظر للأفراد ذوي الإعاقة من عدسة لا جنسية أو عدسة جنسية/مجنسنة مفرطة، لهيك نحنا منتحدى هاي المحرمات من خلال تعزيز رؤية شمولية أوسع. بهي السلسلة من الفيديوهات، منعزز أصوات أربعة أفراد عايشين وعايشات مع إعاقات مختلفة ليفتحوا قلوبهن حول علاقتهن بأجسادهن وجنسيانتهن الخاصة.

كل الشكر إلى زينة على مشاركة قصتها معنا. كانت استقلالية المشاركين مركزية بصنع هذه الفيديوهات. تم إنتاجها بعد محادثات طويلة معهن ووفقًا لرغباتهن.
