Going way outside the usual 80's rock genre with this one. One of the most magnificent pieces ever written for the Organ, the Toccata from Symphony No. 5 composed by the great Charles-Marie Widor. First, this is not an attempt to play this as originally written. If you want to hear this played as composed, by one of the many amazing pros on YT, just search for it and you will find many videos playing it on some great organs. I follow some of these amazing young organists including ‪@AnnaLapwoodOrgan‬ ‪@reductiomusic‬ ‪@PaulFey‬ ‪@brodybettmusic‬ ‪@liebermannjan‬ are amazing young talents and some of the mixes of classic and modern genres they perform on the organ are very cool!

Playing it as written with both hands and both feet on a real pipe organ is challenging for even seasoned organists. but the result is magnificent. It's a favorite for weddings too and my organist friends quietly cringe when the happy couple asks them to play it, lol. What I am doing here is far more simple, with a single keyboard and just two hands. I know I have some incorrect chord inversions and other imperfections, and I tried different things, but this was the closest I could get it and It does sound pretty cool and shows how realistic the Nord cathedral organ samples are.

Aside from a good dose of reverb and EQ adjustments, there are no other effects used. Three of my own programs based on the two cathedral organ samples. There are also no backing tracks aside from one layered part which I did for that little sequence of arpeggiated notes that ends with the final F note which must be held to the end (third hand). It was kind of an afterthought and I was going to just skip it entirely but spliced it into the audio after.
