The £35,000 Alpine A290 is disappointing!

Many of you have probably watched my video on the Renault 5 electric, which afterall is a car I love very much. At the end of that video, I briefly mentioned how Alpine would soon be making a sporty hot hatch version of the Renault 5 electric. I was very excited and so were many others.

However, ever since the Alpine A290 was revealed a few days ago, it turns out to be one right of a dissapointment.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the A290 or would you rather the normal Renault 5? Personally, I'd go for the normal Renault 5 in Pop yellow and with the yellow seats.
