Omega 3 Dose for Dry Eyes in 2024 - New Dry Eye Treatments

Dr Smith with  @Stone Canyon Eye Show  tells us about the effect Omega 3 fatty acids have on treating dry eyes and dry eye disease. The correct dose of Omega 3 in the form of fish oil is also discussed. In other words there is a best Omega 3 for dry eyes out of the two main types which are the plant based and marine based omega 3. The fish oil is the marine based form that is also called EPA and DHA. The plant based Omega 3 is from plant based foods like walnuts and is also called ALA. Omega 3 for dry eye has been used to help patients find relief for many years now.
