The #homemadehymnsplaylist has been in motion for about a month now (on Instagram IGTV @lady_muk) though I have always been singing and recording these songs and posting them on my WhatsApp status, and on my Instagram story over the years. As you may already know, several people asked me to share these recordings hence I’m branching out to bless more of you with my amateur recordings in the hope that in the near future they will be more professional, better quality and still fun and entertaining.

About the song:
•Composed by the late Sr Martha Chrysostoma Muza (LCBL) (during the liberation war after the massacre of catholic missionaries.)

•Hymn No. 606 in the hymn book “Tinokutendai Mambo || dzimbo dzekirike katorike” (1962-2011 edition).

•It is a song for praise normally sung during offertory in mass. (In short I‘d say, „The Lord never wants to see us fall!!“😍😍🙌🏽)

• Requested by my mother. Mom please bless us with your alto, we know you still gat it hehehe🤣 lol.

Note: This song is particularly special and is the highlight of this playlist not only because it’s my mother’s favourite song but also because it has a powerful message of hope in these times of Covid 19, lockdowns, the black lives matter movement and other struggles the world is facing. I cannot do justice to this beautiful piece; I would need a whole choir and instruments with me.🤝
