1968 Panasonic AM/FM Receiver RE-7671 Repair.

Описание к видео 1968 Panasonic AM/FM Receiver RE-7671 Repair.

Follow along as we chase our tail on this Panasonic RE-7671 from 1968. It's a long one. Going in circles trying to locate the strange fault of a distorted left channel on the Germanium amplifier. This all started, because this unit has a ceramic phono input that was needed to test a recently restored VM record changer from the same era. The left channel of this amplifier would have "trouble" amplifing the entire sinewave without clipping the top half of the cycle. Sometimes it would sound ok, but still was not right. Feedback circuit was not helping in determining where in the chain the distortion was occouring. The distortion might have been fed back to the earlier stages making a simple circuit more confusing to locate the defect. It has been mended, & both channels are strong & clear.
