Dolores Umbridge caught Mundungus Fletcher when he stole the Slytherin's Locket from 12 Grimmauld Place. In exchange for the locket, Umbridge let Fletcher off without punishment. Later, she claimed she was related to the Selwyns and the locket was a Selwyn family heirloom to enhance her pure-blood credentials. She could be related to the Selwyns though since there was a known Death Eater called Selwyn who fought in several battles for Voldemort, including the Battle of the Seven Potters. He also fought at the Ambush at the Lovegood House.
