Got this thing over at My St Vincent De Paul Super Store.! It feels like using one of my Hand Vacs from Royal/Dirt Devil, but on a bigger scale. Makes sense given that those dated back to the Mid 1980’s and the Convertible could’ve been from then. The old belt was all chewed up and kept slipping, so I replaced it with an Old Eureka RD Belt I had lying around from when my Parents tried to fix an Old Vacuum. Belt fits and It’s a good Machine! Agitation is nothing like I’ve ever seen before on my Maytag machines (Not even my Windtunnels with CWP Brushrolls) and it’s not by Maytag, it’s the Original Hoover! However, I’m still sticking with my Maytags, They feel more practical and safer to use and run because of the Clean Air Design on them. This is just a cool piece of History, which I am happy to preserve.

Manufactured by HOOVER sometime in the 70s-80s in The USA (United States of America).
