Compared to the Olympics which is centered around Western sports and gains worldwide coverage, Asian martial art games receive less interest. Although the showy side of mix martial arts are gaining attention through various competitions, the history and spirit of these martial arts are relatively unknown. “Masters of Martial Arts” seeks to understand martial arts as well as the spirit and culture of the people behind these arts by introducing demonstrations and interviews by masters in different fields of martial arts. Awesome performances of various martial arts in Asia, and the mental spirit of Asia to “protect oneself and one’s country” through training in martial arts is contained in “Masters of Martial Arts.”
