Prabhakar (Prabhakar Podakandla) popularly known as ‘Yahoo Prabhakar’ or ‘ETV Prabhakar’ is a well known TV artist. He graduated in Theatre Arts from Nizam College with a gold medal.
He started his career in Chanakya, a TV serial on Doordarshan. But it was his role in TV serial Ruthu Ragalu which got him into limelight and there was no looking back since then. Meanwhile he started a new phase by dubbing in movies for more than 60 actors which included the likes of Prabhu Dheva, Uday Kiran, Abbas and Aryan Rajesh. Later he was appointed as the Creative Manager at ETV which led to the introduction of TV shows like Yahoo, Star War and . With the wide spread success of Yahoo, Prabhakar migrated from ETV to Local TV to Zee Telugu to Gemini TV. He is also seen in Maa Inti Aadapadachu and Balaji Telefilms' Kotha Bangaram on Gemini. He was also involved in the production of the TV shows Anna Chellelu and Moodu Mulla Bandham.
Currently he is involved in the soap opera Muddu Bidda airing on Zee. In Muddu Bidda, he is portraying double character role. He is blessed with a son and a daughter. His 14-year-old daughter is an artist and won a Nandi Award for her role in Anna Chellelu.
