As a world-oriented tertiary institution, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) has always attached importance to international exchange and cooperation.

In 2019, the university launched the Sino-Thai undergraduate dual degree programme in English with the Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) based on the "language + technology" model. The programme commenced in September 2020.

During the study period in China, CQUPT will integrate quality resources to provide complete and high-quality education and teaching services for the students. Thai students can use the programme to increase their knowledge, strengthen their abilities and develop global competitiveness while gaining a better understanding of China and experiencing Chinese culture.

The dual degree programme in English with the RUTS is an important part of the university's efforts to accelerate further and expand the opening up of education to the outside world. It is the first attempt by the university to develop an established cooperation programme with the "Belt and Road" countries.

In the future, CQUPT and RUTS will maintain innovative cooperation projects in talent training. They will further deepen the cooperation between the two universities in student exchange, teacher training, professional construction, joint research and other areas.
