Ola Electric has scaled up deliveries of its flagship S1 Pro Plus scooter powered by the indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery. Deliveries have commenced across major South Indian cities including Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi and Hyderabad, marking a significant milestone in India’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
The Ola S1 Pro Plus comes with a powerful 5.2 kWh battery offering an impressive IDC range of up to 320 km, along with high performance, faster acceleration and enhanced safety features like dual ABS. With this rollout, Ola Electric becomes India’s first EV manufacturer to fully own battery cell and battery pack manufacturing in-house, reinforcing the Make in India vision.
