After 8 gruelling weeks and 16 episodes of CBC's Over the Rainbow, Danielle joined the all-Canadian cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new production of The Wizard of Oz. Danielle (20) is from La Salle, Ontario and recently completed her second year at the University of Windsor, where she studies acting. She has over 10 years of vocal training and recently played Elle Woods in Legally Blonde - The Musical, Cinderella in Into The Woods and was part of the cast in Carner & Gregor's Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza in New York City. Andrew Lloyd Webber's retooled stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz will embark on a North American tour next fall. The entire Canadian cast will hit the road to other cities in Canada and across the border in the United States after Labour Day 2013.
The new production of The Wizard of Oz, which is currently selling tickets in Toronto until the end of March, is co-produced by Mirvish, Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group, Bill Kenwright, Troika Entertainment and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.
