That day we woke up in Jiaju Tibetan village inside the cloud, Andre managed to fly some drones in the middle of the fog and get some misty kind of footage which didn't look half bad. After some salty pancakes (which reminded me of Russian "oladi" and we ate all of them and I guess even asked for more) and some more children bonding with the daughter of guesthouse owners we had to leave the village having to decide where to head next. On our coffee stop we met a guy from Guangdong who told us the road with the most attractions is still closed for one day and suggested another route (the maps were saying that is closed too (All due to landslides) but he insisted we make this detour so...we did! extending our route but not having to spend another day waiting for the road to (maybe) open.
So we headed to Luke Grassland and hit the highest point of our journey almost seeing something half-snowy falling from the sky at almost 4600 m above sea level (no heads exploded due to altitude). We have seen forest full of monkeys, stopped at another little village getting in touch with another coffee vendor and another traveller who gave kids a couple of hand made toys and slept at our most simple accommodation owned by a monk. At night we had dinner at some newly opened family-run restaurant with some barbecue and the family was very excited to have foreign visitors...as was the whole village:)
