240 Miles of Grit and Glory: My Moab 240 (2023) Experience

Come join me for a run at the 2023 Moab 240! This year's race was epic! It started on a spooky Friday the 13th but weather this year was perfect blue skies every day. There was a solar eclipse on day 2 when I was in Canyonlands, I ran the first 100 miles with my friend Dave Braunlich who was also running the race and my crew was both reliable and fun to run with for the entire race (Honestly, we might have to release a blooper real with just the funny scenes I recorded with them). Compared to running the race in 2021, when I had to run the alt snow route, I got to run the traditional route through the La Sals this year which was absolutely beautiful. Yes, it was harder, but it was very much worth it; I definitely enjoyed the traditional La Sal route more than the snow route. The race also featured an additional 13 miles to make the course a true 240 miles (the previous year's courses were slightly short).

I think that's all, enjoy!
