Completing a playthrough of the demo for Heartbound, a sort of Undertale-ish game that goes into early access on Dec 28th. It's got an interesting battle system that I wish the demo featured more of. I'm not too keen on the sort of episodic chapter release that is intended but it looks like an interesting game. I will definitely be playing more of it on the 28th.

The battle system is shown at 7:49 and 20:51.

It's about a boy and his dog separated by a storm and a weird old man before said boy ventures into a hell realm to reenact Old Yeller before picking a portal for an ending, like a choose-your-own-adventure book.
