Uncharted hiking paths near the world's 10th largest lake

Episode 1: The path less travelled. Hiking Manitoba off the beaten trail can have its rewards. The low water levels in Lake Winnipeg allowed me to shoreline hike the length of a 6km peninsula near a small Manitoban town called Riverton, finally concluding with beautiful views of Hecla Island Provincial Park. This no-trail hike is a ode to adventurers and pathfinders that get out there and find their own way.
