From my very childhood I have been listening to great Sitar Maestros like Ustad Vilayat Khan, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Imrat Khan, Ustad Rais Khan, Pandit Nikhil Banerjee and others. For me, they were like the most brilliant Stars in the sky!
Little did I know that one day I would be able to come so close to one such Star.
I feel privileged to be a disciple of Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan, who has not only given me 'khaas' Taleem but also taken me on stage to accompany him on the Sitar.
