54-EXERCISE-13.3 Q10.Draw two common tangents to two intersecting circles of radii 3cm and 4cm.

Steps of Construction:
1. Draw a line segment OO' of length 6.5cm.
2. Draw two circles of radii 4 cm and 3 cm with Centers at points O and O'.
3. Find mid-point M of OO' by drawing perpendicular bisector of OO'
4.Taking point M as Centre and radius equal to MO=MO 'draw a circle.
5. Draw another circle with O as Centre and radius equal to 4cm-3cm=1 cm,
cutting the circle with Centre M at points P and Q.
6.Produce OP and OQ to meet the first circle at Points A and B .
7. Draw O'A'∥OA and O'B'∥OB .
8. Join A with A' and B with B' so that AA' and BB' are the required common tangents.
