Live stream to   / adafruit   showing updated Python software libraries that now support Python 3 for the Raspberry Pi and other small Linux computers. Looks at a few common issues you can run into when porting code to Python 3 and how to overcome them.

Note the Python 3 issue with the WS2801 library at the end was actually just forgetting to install the RPi.GPIO library under Python 3. On the Pi you can run these commands to install the library for Python 3:
sudo apt-get install python3-pip
sudo pip3 install rpi.gpio
Then the WS2801 library or others that use GPIO will work great!
