गुलमर्ग में आपदा से निपटने की तैयारी और सुरक्षा संबंधी संयुक्त अभ्यास का आयोजन किया गया, जिसका उद्देश्य विभिन्न सुरक्षा एवं नागरिक एजेंसियों के बीच तत्परता, समन्वय और प्रतिक्रिया तंत्र का परीक्षण करना था। जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस, भारतीय सेना, सीआरपीएफ और बीएसएफ के कर्मियों ने इस अभ्यास में भाग लिया, जिसमें आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया, क्षेत्र पर नियंत्रण, नियमित सुरक्षा जांच और जन सहायता पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। यह अभ्यास एसएसपी बारामूला गुरिंदर पाल सिंह, डीआईजी बारामूला मकसूद-उ-जमान, एसपी ऑपरेशंस फिरोज याह्या, सेना के कमांडिंग ऑफिसर, उपायुक्त बारामूला मिंगा शेरपा, डीएसपी तंगमर्ग, एसएचओ गुलमर्ग और सीआरपीएफ एवं बीएसएफ के अधिकारियों सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों की देखरेख में आयोजित किया गया। इस अभ्यास का उद्देश्य गुलमर्ग और आसपास के क्षेत्र में समन्वय बढ़ाना और जन सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना था।

A joint disaster preparedness and security response drill was conducted at Gulmarg to test readiness, coordination, and response mechanisms among various security and civil agencies. Personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army, CRPF, and BSF participated in the exercise, which focused on emergency response, area domination, routine security checks, and public assistance. The drill was conducted under the supervision of senior officials including SSP Baramulla Gurinder Pal Singh, DIG Baramulla Maqsood-u-Zamaan, SP Operations Feroz Yahya, Army Commanding Officers, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Minga Sherpa, DSP Tangmarg, SHO Gulmarg, and officers from CRPF and BSF. The exercise aimed to enhance coordination and ensure public safety in and around the Gulmarg area.
