Great Lakes fell race 2024, approx 14 miles, about 7000 ft elevation. Takes places in Great Langdale in the English Lake District.
Organised by Ambleside Fell Runners with Ben Abdelnoor as the Race Director.

Took place on Saturday 29 June 2024

The conditions were claggy with very poor visibility, which made the stones very slippery and some runners got lost.

The race Starts and Finishes at Stool End Farm at Great Langdale
CP1 - Bowfell (902 m)
CP2 - Esk Pike (885 m)
CP3 - Great End (910 m) which is also a cut off point of 2 hrs
CP4 - Scafell Pike (978 m) - the highest mountain in England
CP5 - Scafell (964 m)
CP6 - Slight Side (748 m)
CP7 - Pike of Blisco (705 m)
