Context:
When she was younger, Neptune felt herself falling for a girl. But the girl had a boyfriend, Neptune didn't see much hope in feeling what she did. She spent the next few years trying to move on. To keep her from feeling the same way again, she promised she wouldn't fall in love with anyone again. But then Venus comes along. Neptune but can't help but catch feelings for her, but as if the universe was playing a cruel joke on her, Venus likes a boy. Or at least, that's what Neptune thinks.
