A ‘CAN’ based vehicle alarm is a convenient solution to enhance your vehicles protection as it simply arms & disarms each time you lock or unlock the vehicle using the manufacturers original remote control.

Many manufacturers now offer CAN based vehicle security solutions for user simplicity.

However these systems can also easily be switched off by an un-authorised person using a stolen or cloned car key / remote control.

Vodafone Automotive have added the ability to pair up a ‘driver recognition card’ to their alarm / immobiliser range giving yet another layer of security.

If an ‘ADR’ card is paired to the security system, upon unlocking the vehicle using the manufacturers original remote control, the Vodafone Automotive security system then ‘looks’ for a ‘wireless handshake’ with its paired card, while looking for the handshake the Vodafone Automotive immobiliser system remains active preventing the vehicle from being started. If a card is within range the system disarms but if a card is not ‘seen’ within 25 seconds of unlocking using the manufacturers remote control the alarm siren will sound.

In addition to the included high power battery back up siren, at Autosparx we often add additional ‘horn honk’ of the vehicles existing horn &/or even multiple sirens both internal & external if requested.

We often also link the system to our AutosparxTrack self monitored, covert vehicle tracking & monitoring system which will then generate a push notification to the owners smartphone in the event of a security breach.
