We meet Eddie Haskell’s second son Bomber (Ken Osmond’s real-life younger son Christian) at military school where Eddie sends his eldest Freddie (Ken’s son Eric Osmond) to join Bomber as punishment for Freddie’s decision to pay for a car window broken by the Cleaver kids with money Eddie instructed Eddie to place on a bet at the horse track in this 30th episode of the Leave it to Beaver revival series that debuted on Sept. 29, 1986.
Christina Applegate also makes her second appearance in this series in a cameo as a paid girlfriend of Freddie’s.
This episode called A Farewell to Freddie, is the fourth episode under the new title of The New Leave it to Beaver on Superstation WTBS and featuring most of the original cast of Leave it to Beaver, including Jerry Mathers and Tony Dow - the first season of 26 commercial-free episodes when the series was called Still the Beaver was on The Disney Channel from November 1984 - December 1985.
