In this video, we’ll walk you through how to create or change your Phantom Wallet username. Your Phantom username is part of your identity in the Solana ecosystem, allowing others to send you assets using a simple name instead of a long wallet address. It’s a great way to personalize your wallet and make transactions easier.

To get started, make sure you're signed into your Phantom Wallet app on your mobile device. From the home screen, tap the account icon at the top left of your screen. A dropdown will appear—here, tap on Settings.

Next, select Manage Accounts, and from there, tap View Profile followed by Edit Profile.

Now, you’ll see a field labeled Username. If this is your first time setting one, it may be blank, or if you're changing it, you’ll see your current username. Simply delete the current text and enter the new username you'd like to use.

Make sure the username is available. Phantom will show a green text that says “Username available” once your chosen name is valid and not already taken.

When it’s ready, tap Save, and that’s it—you now have a custom Phantom username! You’ll be able to see it on your profile screen and use it for easy wallet interactions.
