Learning Buddhism in BOUDHANATH and KOPAN Monastery in Nepal

While exploring some of the touristic attractions, I got the chance to learn some things about buddhism in the Boudhanath Stupa and in Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu Nepal.
Hinduism and Buddhism are the two religions with the largest adherents in Nepal. These two religions represented 81.3% and 9.04% of the national population; but regardless of Hinduism being the predominant in Nepal, this place is also known to be the birthplace of Buddha.
Since it is still a religion I'm not fully familiar with, I had the privilege to respectfully ask some questions to people more knowledgeable than I am in this matter and I truly enjoyed the opportunity to connect to something that is so far from my culture yet feels so familiar.
