100 shooting stars per hour In Perseid meteor shower tonight

The Perseid meteor shower, one of the most spectacular meteor showers to witness, will be active from July 17 to August 24. During its peak, around 1:00 a.m. (+05:30 GMT) on August 13, 2022, it can produce up to 100 meteors per hour. For the best viewing experience, look towards the northeastern horizon in the constellation Perseus on August 13. This celestial event is visible to the naked eye.
