I visited here around August of 2023 and was met with some deputies that really needed some constitutional training as well as customer service training. I can say that I believe the sheriff has provided training as I encountered no issues with the deputies.

However, I can’t say the same thing for the court clerk’s office and DA’s office. It appears that they wanted to hide and be unprofessional and rude. I tried to submit an open records request but was met with many roadblocks. However, one of the nice ladies did accept my request. However, I have yet to hear a response to my request.

According to the Georgia Open Records Act, the agency has three business days to provide a response to such request. Why isn’t the Attorney General getting more involved with the people not getting access to public records.
