Businessmen are not getting confidence in new investments until the law and order situation is normal. According to the data of Bangladesh Bank, in 2 months the opening of capital equipment import credit decreased by 44 percent. Imports of intermediate goods also decreased. The challenge is to restore image to boost investment, say economists.
