ANET A8 Plus Adjustable Z End Stop

Описание к видео ANET A8 Plus Adjustable Z End Stop

In this video I will show you how to upgrade your ANET A8 Plus 3D printer with an adjustable z end stop. The advantage to using an adjustable z end stop is the ease of adjusting your z offset very quickly and accurately for different filaments, or if your z height position slowly creeps over time. By turning the adjustment knob slightly one way or the other, you can change your offset fractions of a millimeter at a time.

The limit switch bracket that comes with the ANET A8 is fixed and once you loosen the bolts holding it, you lose your z0 reference position and making fine adjustments is incredibly frustrating. This will change all of that and make your life so much easier.

Once installed, you will not have to re-level your print bed since you have not touched your bed level, or anything of that sort. Simply move the print head to the middle of the printer and use the classic "paper gauge" and home your z axis a few times while making adjustments to the thumb screw to dial back in your perfect z height.

Your original limit switch is re-used along with the two small screws that hold it to the metal bracket. What you will need is the following:

► (1) M3x20mm socket head cap screws
► (2) M3x10mm socket head
► (1) M3 nylon locking nut
► (2) M3 T nuts
► (1) M3 brass insert
► 3D printed parts

You can find the parts you need to print here:

This process and system could work on a variety of printer types such as Creality, ANET, Tevo, Alfawise, Geeetech, Raiscube, Sainsmart, etc.
