Housing / renting prices - UP !!!! New land law.

Vietnam issued a new Land Law.
1st section of the law was implemented on July 1, 2024.
2nd section of the law is being implemented today August 1, 2024.

According to news in Vietnam, Batdongsan, Saville Vietnam and Vietnam realestate association, all predict an increase in price on land, Villas, Townhouses and apartments.

This will again affect renting prices = rent will also follow and increase.

With faster processing of deeds ( land ) and deeds ( houses, Townhouses, Apartments) + the fact that Vietnamese abroad get same rights as locals here, and descendants of Vietnamese get rights to inherit land, houses etc.

That will increase prices.

Investors from Korea, Singapore, Malaysia buying here for investments too, and people constantly moving to HCMC and Hanoi fir jobs and studies + expats = prices go up.

And lastly, due to covid epidemic and war in EU = hard financial times, = construction work was stopped and houses / apartments did not get built.
So it's less available, as now people want to buy, before it get even more expensive !
