From a novelty browser game to a competitive and social media phenomenon: how did Geoguessr get to where it is today?

This has been a fairly long time in the making. I first played this game almost 11 years ago, and discovered ‪@GeoWizard‬ about 5 years later and was inspired to make my own channel. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the development of this community - we've come a long way.
