A newcomer in the Stil vor Talent family, here comes Copenhagen-based DJ and producer Nilu with his debut iteration, 'Echoes of Elysium'. Blending in a kaleidoscopically trancey feel with muscular EBM rhyhtms and sci-fi-infused atmospheres, the rising Danish artist has us drifting across throbbing multiversal dimensions with a pair of straight heaters designed specifically for extended club use. Born from a "love for the bold snares of the '80s combined with a deep appreciation for beautiful, melodic elements", this two-tracker oozes pure zero-G wizardry with its solid alloy of fiery grooviness and outer-spacey uplift, ready to take dance floors by storm. All in retro-laced synthwaves and brooding bass horsepower, the title-track ushers us into a vibrant extraterrestrial scenario flush with neon-draped scapes and nostalgia-drenched breaks, woven together through a massive, big room-ready helluva jet-propelled buildup. The second cut, 'Acid Vision', works out a 303-emulating techno strain on a strong trancey tip, equipped with the kind of sturdy bass chassis and square-shouldered synth geometry to whip up any crowd into an absolute frenzy. The result evokes "a feeling of awe and exploration, like stepping into an unknown but beautiful world" Nilu explains, creating "something that would light up the dancefloor but also offer a nice experience for those listening at home".
