My son, Spencer Chernick is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in San Diego. I have trained him in Enneagram, Enneagram Tritype®, Instinctual Types, and Subtypes. He uses these methods in services such as ADHD therapy, couples therapy, marriage counseling, teen counseling, children’s therapy, self-esteem therapy, grief counseling, and life transition counseling both online and in San Diego.

Spencer is certified with Katherine Fauvre Enneagram Consulting. Spencer grew up with the Enneagram and taught his first class on the Enneagram in 6th grade when he was 11 years old, and taught a class on the Instinctual Types in his junior year of high school.

Spencer, an 8 with the 846 Tritype®, always knew his Enneagram Tritype® and his sexual/social Instinctual Stacking. He feels that knowing how to work with the intensity of his sx846 Tritype® helped him navigate his way through school.

He conducted a research study correlating the Enneagram and conflict management. He used the Thomas-Kilmann Indicator (TKI), a conflict management tool, and Katherine’s Enneagram Enneacards Testing Instrument to shed light on the different ways people prefer to communicate when making decisions and having disagreements.
