2019 Bianchi Aria 105 Disc Bike Overview
The Italian manufacturer Bianchi aims to give you an aero-dynamic bike that comes with plenty of specs and tech for a racing environment; and that bike is the 2019 Bianchi Aria 105. It is not an entry-level machine though: its design instantly stands out due to its angular shapes, and the unusually small size that we noticed during testing.
Wind-tunnel testing is clearly an inspiration for the seat stays and fork designs, as the fork and frame reduce dragging by locking together as you move. Additionally, it comes with an aero seat post that has an integrated clamp and a 20mm offset. The clamp is similar to most aero designs due to its reliance on an expander bolt, which you can use comfortably when you take it slowly.
The bike also has a good handle on broken tarmac surfaces, which is quite impressive for its chunky appearance. It will always maintain high levels of composure even as it moves over corrugations, making it a good road racing bike for daily commutes.
