From Housekeeper to CNA to LPN to RN: A Foreign Nurse's Story

❤️ Imagine moving to the United States, learning to speak a new language, and becoming a Registered Nurse at the same Hospital you once Cleaned.

Melita was born in Haiti and migrated to Florida, where she initially worked as a Housekeeper at a hospital. With 3 kids, she went earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She also went on to earn her license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and then Registered Nurse (RN).

In addition to being a loving mother and a beloved nurse, Melita is also active in her church community and has a small business. She serves as proof that You Can Do It!
