Radical question | SAT Prep

Описание к видео Radical question | SAT Prep

Today we are going to solve a radical question from the SAT.
✔️ My other SAT videos:    • Digital SAT Prep

In this question, most students try to simplify the radical sign (square root) with the exponent. However, this is a terrible mistake and is not going to work.

Instead of simplifying the square root, just remember that the radical sign is used to designate the positive square root, so the left-hand side is greater than or equal to zero. Therefore, the right-hand side must also be greater than or equal to zero.

The alternative "a" is the answer to this question because it is not a solution for the equation shown. See you next lesson with another SAT math question.
