About the speaker:

Dr. Tiia Sudenkaarne is a queer feminist philosopher. For the past years, she has been working with social study of microbes as a postdoctoral researcher at University of Helsinki. Her research interests include bioethics, moral theory, vulnerability, justice, care, gender and sexuality, reproductive technologies, and posthumanism. She is currently developing a queer feminist posthuman framework for bioethics.
