Welcome to Portmarnock Golf Club - the championship links that is consistently ranked amongst the top golf courses and considered by many as one of the fairest links courses in the world. Founded in 1894, Portmarnock delivers an incredible challenge and true test of golf. Host to major professional and amateur events including 19 stagings of the Irish Open Championships, the Walker Cup, the Irish Amateur Close Championship and the British Amateur Championship, from Sam Snead to Seve Ballesteros, Tiger Woods to Rory McIlroy, no other Irish course has been graced by so many distinguished players in a rich history encompassing a broad sweep of significant events.
