In this video, I debunk the popular conspiracy that unbacked Tether (USDT) is being used to pump the price of Bitcoin. This theory relies on a paper by Griffin and Shams that has been debunked numerous times by different scholars (see below).

In addition, it's clear from their relative market caps that Tether could never be used to pump Bitcoin, since it is simply too small (3% of Bitcoin's market cap).
