Day 1 Highlights | Swan Bonifacio Challenge

Day 1 of the Swan Bonifacio Challenge in Bonifacio, Corsica, delivered fantastic racing and set a high bar for the rest of the week. With beautiful sunshine and a steady breeze ranging from 8 to 10 knots, the conditions were perfect for the three races completed.

In the ClubSwan 36 class, G SPOT, helmed by Giangiacomo Serena di Lapigio, and CUORDILEONE, led by Edoardo Ferragamo, are tied for the lead with 8 points each. Close behind is YACHT CLUB ITALIANO, skippered by Francesco Marcolini, with 10 points. The competition is fierce, promising more thrilling races ahead.

For the ClubSwan 50s, HATARI, driven by Marcus Brennecke, leads with 9 points. OLYMP, under Mark Bezner, follows with 11 points, and STELLA MARIS, helmed by Jakob Glatz, sits in third with 13 points. The teams displayed exceptional skill and strategy, making for an exciting day on the water.
