Making a classic compost pile from scratch : cheap and easy

This early summer I finally started my own compost pile in the garden. I chose the cheap and easy way to make it. Just a spot in the backyard that I contained with an easy-to-mount fence where I can drop my fruit and vegetable waste. I prepared it with some dead brown leaves I took from the wood at the end of my backyard, then the grass I cut while mowing the lawn and some more brown leaves to make a 40% green / 60% brown roughly, that I layered. Now I have a small bucket with a cover in my kitchen where I dump all my vegetable and fruit waste while cooking or eating, then twice or three times a week I drop this bucket on top of my compost pile. I made it the cheapest and easiest way. And why not because I have the space. I was kind of annoyed of my regular trash to be half full of vegetables / fruit waste most of the time while this waste could be reused for plants instead of cluttering the garbage and being burned for nothing. in French/ en français : un compost facile dans le jardin. Faire un compost classique à partir de rien : facile et bon marché. Cet été j’ai finalement décidé de composter mes déchets végétaux. J’ai fait un compost dans mon jardin. J’ai choisi une méthode facile et bon marché. Juste un endroit dans le fond du jardin que j’ai contenu avec un grillage facile à monter où je peux jeter tous mes déchets végétaux. Je l’ai amorcé avec des feuilles mortes ramassées dans le bois au fond de mon jardin, puis l’herbe coupée quand j’ai tondu en encore des feuilles mortes pour faire environ 40% de vert et 60% de marron et je les ai mises en couches alternées. Maintenant j’ai un petit seau avec un couvercle dans ma cuisine où je « jette » mes déchets végétaux pendant que je cuisine ou que je mange. 2 ou 3 fois par semaine, je vide ce seau sur mon compost. Je l’ai vraiment fait de la façon la moins chère et la plus simple possible. Pourquoi pas puisque j’ai la place dans mon jardin. Cela m’ennuyait de voir que ma poubelle générale (hors emballage et « recyclables » était toujours à moitié pleine de déchets végétaux, alors que ces déchets pouvaient être réutilisés par les plantes au lieu d’encombrer les ordures ménagères et d’être brûlés pour rien.
