Entombed - Left Hand Path (Guitar Cover)

Este é um clássico do death metal tradicional. E também é um símbolo da vanguarda sueca do gênero, até mesmo carregando uma sonoridade específica a qual seria adotada por outros grupos deste país mais tarde. É um dos meus sons preferidos de death metal, pois há um forte motivo para este ser de fato um clássico do gênero. Esta música apresenta riffs agressivos, extremamente rápidos, recheados de dissonâncias geniais; solos atonais, ao estilo do Slayer, aos quais eu dei uma interpretação diferente neste vídeo; e para finalizar, um fantástico solo melódico, de construção simples mas absolutamente convincente. Uma obra-prima!

This is a classic of traditional death metal. And also, it's a symbol of the swedish vanguard of the genre, even carrying a specific sonority which would be adopted by other groups of this country later. It's one of my favorite death metal songs, because there's a strong reason for this to be in fact a classic of the genre. This track presents aggressive riffs, extremely fast, stuffed with genial dissonances; atonal solos, in Slayer's style, which I gave a different interpretation in this video; and to finish, a fantastic melodic solo, simple-minded construction, but absolutely convincing. A masterpiece!
