From the heart of Nigeria to the pinnacle of bodybuilding, Samson Dauda has risen to become one of the sport's most inspiring figures. Known as 'The Nigerian Lion’. He is massive and one of the heaviest competitors over the last year.
Samson Dauda’s back certainly reflects the heavy, intense, and high volume training he puts himself through. He hits the muscle groups hard, efficiently, and does not play around when it comes to his back day. Born on March 11, 1992, in Nigeria to parents Patrick and Helen Dauda, Samson Dauda later moved to the United Kingdom and now resides in the United States. A tale of unexpected turns, Dauda, a former rugby player, found his way into bodybuilding after being nudged by rugby pals to give it a shot.
Samson Dauda is a name that is climbing the ranks in the bodybuilding industry rather quickly. With two Olympias under his belt and a top ten finish in both.While on stage, Dauda showed off a massive and conditioned physique that continues to improve since his victory in Columbus. Dauda defeated Nick Walker for the Arnold Classic title back in March. This put him on the radar for the Mr. Olympia title in 2023 and he ended up finishing third, behind Derek Lunsford and Hadi Choopan.
